I Got Transferred!?

 Hello everyone! A crazy end to this week.

So this week started awesome. We had a visit at a member’s house with Danny and his girlfriend on Thursday. It went super good and they totally could get baptized this month! 

On Saturday we had an área attack in Comalapa and I was with Elder Hemmert! It was so fun!  We then ate at the italian restaurant after haha. I got another pizza. Very good. 


Sunday night we found out if one of us was getting transferred. When we got on the call with the zone they went one by one telling us if we were getting transfered. They said I was leaving and white washing an area! Which means both elders in the area were taken out. Everyone, including me, were shocked. No one ever leaves their training to open an area!  I was super excited though. I found out on Wednesday my area and companion. My new area is considered "the city" meaning Guatemala City but we really are in Quetzal city! I will miss the mountains but know it is where I need to be. My companion’s name is Elder Martinez and he's from México. He has only 1 more transfer (6 weeks) than me so we are both learning lots! Neither me or my companion know anything about our area so this week will be lots of learning and we are so excited!!! So normally transfers are tuesday but because of an election we had it on Wednesday and p Day was today (Thursday).


I don't have lots of time but want to talk about how God knows exactly where you are in your life. He knows exactly how you are feeling. When you pray, believing that you will recieve help, you will recive his help. In alma 37 we read about how small and simple things, even VERY small and simple things bring to pass miracles. Small things like prayer and scripture study daily. I know that if you do the small and simple things you will see miracles and have joy and peace in your life!

Big Changes

  Hey everyone!!   So this week we had transfers and I got moved to a super cool area called San Lucas Toliman. It's on the famous Lake Atitlan and surrounded by volcanoes. It is soooo pretty here!! I don't have a ton of pictures but I will take more this week don't worry. My companion is Elder Perez from Mexico and I am starting his training!!! I'm so excited and there's tons of work to do here.  The missionaries before us really didn't leave us anything to work with so we are starting from 0... but with a little bit of hard work and some time we will see miracles!!  This week in my studies I came across a verse from Doctrine and Covenants section 50:44 "44 Wherefore, I am in your midst, and I am the good shepherd, and the stone of Israel. He that buildeth upon this rock shall never fall." I love that it has two different names of Christ and that it gives us a promise. Baptism!

  Hey everyone!!! So, I probably won’t send very long emails until the last week... but these last two weeks have been awesome!   Last Sunday we had 11 people come to church, which is the biggest number I have ever had or seen!! SUCH A BIG MIRACLE for me.  On Saturday we were able to baptize Abigail, which was also another miracle story. After, she texted us and told us how grateful she was and that she will never forget us and hopes we never forget her. I love being a missionary.  This coming week we already have super big days planned with a lot of new potential people and I am so excited and am trying to finish strong! Last Tuesday we went to the temple. That was one of the best, most spiritual experiences on my mission.    I don't have much time left but just trying to finish strong!!   I have been putting "be happy" at the end of my emails for a little while now because I truly believe that being happy is a choice. Time is Running Out

Heyyyy everyone I hope you are all doing good!!  I didn't send an email last week sorry about that. But these last two weeks have been super good!! We have seen the Lord's hand and his timing in everything.  We were walking up a street trying to talk to everyone and then this mom and son stopped us and offered us some empanadas. My companion bought one and then we talked to them about the church! We had a visit with them a little bit after and they told us they NEVER walk down that one street but for whatever reason decided to walk down it. So that's cool. We are really hoping we can help them come to church.  We got a referral from the bishop’s wife. Her name is Abigail. Somehow Abigail was talking to the missionaries 2 years ago but never had time to go to church. And then somehow found the bishop’s wife's number. She has come the last 2 Sundays and is super ready. She told us she had already received her answer about the Book of Mormón and the church. So cool.  He...
