So Much Work!

Hi everyone!

This week was soooo busy it was awesome.

We started teaching the family that owns the pupusa restaurant!! Marisol (mom), Oscar (son, 16), and Scarlett (daughter 11). There are more family members but only the three of them work at the restaurant and we teach them in the restaurant in between customers. We have been almost every day this week and I have had quite a few pupusas (not quite everyday but it's tempting). They are unreal. Oscar came to church on Sunday and is in love with studying! He started reading the book of morning from the title page and after church told us all about Sunday school, he even has the Gospel library app now and loves it. We are working on a date for baptism, we are hoping for the beginning of September!

Bruno also came to church Sunday and we have met with him every day this week. He is so excited to get baptized on Saturday!!! I am going to do the baptism and I am very excited.

Another huge blessing was we got to meet with a family of 12!! We have met with them twice now and the kids love us!!! My companion and I are very excited to teach them.

Time has been going by so fast. We have so many lessons and it is so awesome. We have at least 3 lessons a day. Some of them are a little shorter but some of them are more like an hour. It's great.

The girlfriend of the returning member (Fernanda) is awesome and has loved the lessons. The only thing is she's getting married in October and we have to wait until after the wedding to baptize her... but it's all good because she is coming to church and reading the Book of Mormon.

In Alma 32 we read about a seed that is likened unto the word of God (scriptures, prophets, apostles). We need to grow our seed of faith by nurturing it with diligence and patience, looking forward to our eternal blessings. When we do this, our seed of faith will take deep root.
41 But if ye will nourish the word, yea, nourish the tree as it beginneth to grow, by your faith with great diligence, and with patience, looking forward to the fruit thereof, it shall take root; and behold it shall be a tree springing up unto everlasting life.

Even if you have a testimony and the tree is rooted, we can always increase the strength of our testimony!!
Have an awesome week everyone and remember to be an example and share the gospel to others because there are some people who are looking for the Gospel but know not where to find it.
