One Percent Better

 Hi everyone!!!!

Sooo this week was super awesome and went by so fast. We started our new schedule this week, leaving at 10 am in the morning! It is so much better than leaving at 1 or 2 haha.

So we finalized a baptism date with Rosa. She has been meeting with the missionaries since last June... and her husband is a member and now she made the decision to be baptized on the 5th of March! We are very excited for her!!! We met with Vany as well and things are still progressing with her, she just has lots of questions haha.

On Tuesday we had divisions! I went to my zone leader’s area and got to work with him for a day. It was super cool to see another area and work with a different companion - a latino haha. Then Thursday we had zone conference!!! It was super good and we talked about why we changed the schedule and the p day. And talking with President and Hermana Probst was awesome! We went to the tienda, or little store, and bought some snacks and drinks, and president Probst came with us and it was the funnest thing ever hahaha. I love him!

Elder Perez

This week I read “One Percent Better” from October 2021 General Conference. It's such a good talk and I want to share a few thoughts. He said, "Because every effort to change we make—no matter how tiny it seems to us—just might make the biggest difference in our lives." If we don't try, God can't help us. If we don't try, God can't bless us. All we need to do is try to do 1 percent better. One percent really isn't a lot but the change can be life changing!! And from a talk by Elder Maxwell, "Therefore, what we insistently desire, over time, is what we will eventually become and what we will receive in eternity." We start by having a desire to change. Having a desire to do one percent better every day. And if we have this desire everyday, we will eventually become one percent better everyday.  I'll put the talks below. Love you all!!!
