No Power?

 Hey everyone!!!!

This week was an interesting week...

So the power went out last Monday morning. Not a rare thing, it usually comes back within the day. We went to the ruins for p day and had a good time. But then when we came back, we still didn't have power... so we can't make anything anddd we have cold showers. Not the end of the world though. Members feed us lunch and dinner. But then... Thursday night we ran out of water. So we had to go to a members house and shower. And well we had a a little water in our pila so we can flush the toilets. But yeah it's now been a week without power and 3 days without water. Very good times here in Guatemala!

We got to meet with Leslie yesterday! Her mother in law is the relief society president and we have been trying to get a real visit with her for a while now. We got to share a message on the restoration and it went really well and we are excited to see her progress!

Some fun things this week:

On thursday we had zone conference! We met with the 4 mountain zoneso many of my friends! One of them being Elder Lemone :)

Friday we had an activity with the Elders quorum. We played soccer and it was very fun :)
Saturday we had an activity with the primary kids! That was fun and juice after :)

Sunday we had ward conference! And we got to sing in the choir :)

3 Nephi 19:9
9 And they did pray for that which they most desired; and they desired that the Holy Ghost should be given unto them.
I LOVE this verse and what we can learn from it. What they desired MOST was to have the spirit with them. Now, remember what President Nelson said, " In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." If we want to survive spiritually in this time our biggest desire we have NEEDS to be to have the spirit with us always. It is absolutely crucial that we do the things to have the spirit with us and to keep it with us! Life's hard and the world is dark. And it will only be harder before the 2nd coming of Christ. But, if we have the Holy Ghost as our guide, we can survive. We can survive with joy!

I love you all so much! If you need anything send me an email!
