Hard Times=Good Times

Hey Everyone!

Another super fast week. But this week wasn't as good as we had hoped. We had a visit set up with Alex and his girlfriend on Saturday... but as we were trying to confirm with them we couldn't get a hold of them. So we went to their house but nobody answered 😕 Then Sunday came around and they couldn't make it to church for some reason 😕. And then they didn't have time to visit afterwards. It was kinda hard. The good thing was that we met with a 15 year old named Wendy who was meeting with the missionaries a while ago but didn't have permission from the parents. We are going to try a few things and hopefully help her to make it to the waters of baptism!!

On Saturday we had lunch with some members and MADE BURGERS. They tasted like home I won't lie. That was really fun.

A good friend of mine sent me an email last week and told me how he could see that I was happy even in the hard times. This week was exactly that. Although it was a hard week, I found joy in the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everytime I read the scriptures I felt joy. Everytime I served others I felt joy. It doesn't matter what your circumstances are you can have joy in this world. After all, "Adam fell that men might be; men are that they might have joy." I've seen people here who have nothing. Barely enough food to put on the table after working a 12 hour day in the fields. But yet, thanks to the gospel, they are happy and have hope in the future.

I love you all very much and hope you have a good week! You should all read the Book of Mormón it's the best.
