Little Things Make Big Changes
Hi everyone!! I hope this week was really good for you guys!
This week was a pretty solid week. We got a few references and set up appointments for next with them and we are very excited about that! The best thing that happened this week were our visits with Cindy (Alex's girlfriend). We went on Tuesday and met with just her because Alex was working very for away. We talked about how it was going and if she wanted to get married. She told us a lot of her thoughts and fears. Turns out she has a little fear of getting married and coming back to church but Alex really wants to be baptized and married. So we talked about revelation and how she needs to read the Book of Mormón and ask our Heavenly Father for guidance. It was super spiritual. We then went back on Thursday and followed up. She told us she had been reading and praying every night and that she felt so much peace. She had stress lifted from her shoulders. Even people at work told her she seemed happier. She didn't tell us much more about Alex and their situation but we could tell that things were better. It is so awesome to see the spirit working in her life!!!
Another crazyyyyy thing was that one of the first people I baptized, Bruno, who wasn't confirmed, showed up in my area. We saw each other and are going to visit him this week!!!!
For my spiritual thought I want to share something Cindy said.
"What may be little steps for other people are huge steps for me."
She was talking about how reading a few verses and praying every night may seem little to others but are actually huge for her. Those little things she's doing are changing her life for the better. These steps may be very big and even difficult steps for you guys too but they are 100% worth it and will change your life for the better. I invite you to read a few verses and pray every single night with sincere desire and look for a difference. I promise you will be happier and have more peace.
I love you all!!!
