What Now?
Hi everyone!!! I
I hope this week was super good for you guys!!This week was pretty good!
We got to meet with Bruno on Tuesday and on Saturday. We need to talk to the bishop but we should be able to get him confirmed soon!! We also met with a new family- Angelica, Alan, and Genisis. They were super nice and we are really hoping to meet with them again.
Cindy and Alex broke up this week which is sooo sad. But it is best for both of them. We are going to try and talk to Alex still but we aren't sure if he is still interested... but the good thing is that Cindy is still reading and praying and still feeling the joy of the gospel in her life!!
We have transfers this Friday and we have no idea who is leaving... we find out on Wednesday!

I was reading a talk by Neal A. Maxwell called "Applying the Atoning Blood of Christ." Talking about our mortal challenges he talks about us asking "why" questions in our prayers. Here is something interesting he said:
"Some "Why me" questions, asked amid stress, would be much better as "what" questions, such as, "what is required of me now?" Or, to paraphrase Moroni's words, "if I am sufficiently humble, which personal weakness could now become a strength?"
If we have a "what" mindset, we might see our challenges as something good. Although hard, we can find joy and satisfaction knowing we are becoming more like our Savior Jesus Christ! In your your prayers, I invite you to ask "what is required of me now?" not "why is God punishing me with these challenges?" I promise you that your challenges will become a little more bearable and you will be able to face anything.
I love you all!!!
