Miracle of Fasting

Hey everyone!

I have a story...

So two weeks ago we fasted with Darwin so he could receive an answer and guidance about the church. I was hoping he would receive an answer but I knew that it would be tough with him. He told us we felt like he needed to learn sooo much more. So we called him Monday night and started our fast together. I offered the prayer and felt the spirit, but didn't think much of it. We then finished Tuesday at 1. We were at zone conference so we couldn't finish with a prayer but he and his wife finished together. Then fast forward to last Monday. He told us, "Hey elders come to my house tonight at 6:30." We thought, "ummm he definitely has something to tell us."  Almost never do people tell us to come over haha. So we went to his house and he started telling all of God's signs he saw during the past 2 weeks. Especially in the fast. He told us hat the first word I said in the prayer he was hit with something special and powerful in his chest. He wanted to cry but held off until after the call. Then he started balling. Didn't know if he was happy or sad but by the end said he knew it was the spirit and knew that he needed to be baptized. Then he put his own date haha. "Elders I want to be baptized on August 12th at 6pm by my father in law." The spirit during his story was SO POWERFUL. My companion and I both had teary eyes. Such a special experience of fasting and miracles. He has a very special spirit and will do HUGE things in the church. I’m so excited for him!!

We did a few divisions this week as well which was fun!

I also got to use facevook for the fisrt time this week. That was kinda weird and will take time to adjust for sure haha. Also, we are all getting a personal phone in the next few weeks!! That will also be sooooo weird. But I'm excited.

I just want to testify of fasting and faith. Darwin has so much faith. He had so much faith when we fasted. He told us that he KNOWS that if he fasts and makes that sacrifice, God will bless him and answer his prayers. So cool.

I love you all and hope you're doing good!!!
