Hi everyone!! I don't have much time but this week flew by. Josue didn't get permission from his mom yet so we are waiting for that before he can get baptized. Here's a scripture to ponder this week:  2 Nephi 32:8 And now, my beloved brethren, I perceive that ye ponder still in your hearts; and it grieveth me that I must speak concerning this thing. For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which teacheth a man to pray, ye would know that ye must pray; for the evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray. Hey everyone!!! I hope you are all doing just fantastic!!  This week was a pretty cool week. On Wednesday we had a magic show in the stake center with all of the stake. A friend of the stake president from Mexico came to do a show for us and it turned out awesome! Then afterwards there was a bunch of different food options! We had lots of friends that came to see and they all loved it!! We had divisions with the assistants and I went to San Lucas where they live. We had a blast and I learned a lot from him!! It was actually my 3rd day working in that area haha. And my 2nd time doing divisions with him. He was my zone leader a few months ago. I really enjoyed it.  We met with Josue this week and were able to put a baptismal date for the 24th! His aunt and uncle are ok with it but they want his mom to say yes. So Josue called his mom and she said that he needs to learn more... she is from a different church and so it might be hard because we have no way to talk to her... she liv...

  Hey everyone! This week was a busy fast week with 2 divisions and a super fun activity... So on Tuesday I got to go back to my first area!!! I was there a little over a year ago and it brought back sooo many memories!! Lots of good ones and some very sad and hard ones... but it was so cool to be back and see a few members there.  On Thursday I stayed in our area and we did another division. About 2 weeks ago we received a reference from the church Facebook ads whose name is Marvin. He only wants to speak English with us and we called a few times until finally on Thursday we went to his house. He wanted to speak English so his family doesn't understand us haha. But basically he has had a rough life and made some not so good decisions. Having family troubles and wants to stop drinking.   Heyyyy everybody. What's up?   This week was wild. Super busy busy. We had zone council Tuesday to talk about some goals we want to have for this transfer and then on Wednesday a training with the other leaders and Elder Godoy (area president) and then on Thursday we had the mission wide training with him. We have never been together as a whole mission so that was WILD. He taught us some very good things and things we have to do better! I'm excited for this transfer.  We got to meet with Karla again and had a good lesson on prayer and the spirit. We also got to meet with Josue. He is 12 and lives with his aunt, uncle, and cousin. He is the only one not baptized and we will be working with him more this week!! Tonight we are having a family home evening with Karla and some members to watch the restoration movie. We are really excited about that too.   One of the things elder Godoy mentioned is that there are some things that we cannot vote "yes" or "no" on....

  Hey everyone!!!!   So good to be writing you guys again.  So my old companion got transferred to my oldd area and I received a new companion - elder Ovando. He is from Boliva and has the same time on the mission as me! We have gotten along super good in these few days and I am PUMPED for this transfer. We are going to do big things...  So this week we got to meet with Karla. Her husband Carlos is a member returning to activity and they are both super motivated to be going to church and learning more.  Karla is a catholic and so learning about the church is a big change for her... but we are going to meet with them LOTS and see what miracles come. We got to meet with them on Saturday and it was a super spiritual lesson.  I'm excited.  This week we have a training from the area president elder Godoy and I'm really excited for that!!! We will also be receiving a phone for each missionary.... that will be wild.  So I read "The Love Of God" by Elder ...
